It is hard to believe another year has whizzed by far too quickly, but here we are at the end of December. I'm enjoying seeing other card makers looking back on what they created this year and thought I would share a few of my favorite cards from 2015.

It is a bit of an eclectic mix, but there are definite trends coming through: I love CAS designs, bold colors, dies and shaker boxes!

Papertrey Ink December 2015 Blog Hop + Simon Says

Welcome to the Papertrey Ink December 2015 Blog Hop! I think I'm going to call 2015 the Year of the Shaker, because the inspiration photo provided this month immediately inspired a couple of last minute shaker gift tags.

The "joy" on the second plate in the inspiration photo made me think of my PTI One Liner Die, so I pulled that out along with PTI's Tag Sale #4 die to cut the layers for the shaker tag.  Ribbons, fiber, bells & sequins finish the tag off.

I'm also linking this tag to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge Blog where the challenge this week is to Make It Sparkle.

CASology Week 178: Merry + Color Throwdown #373 + Simon Says

I've been working on a few last minute tags today, but they aren't quite ready for sharing, so I thought I'd share another holiday card as I wanted to post and wish everyone out there celebrating tomorrow a very, very Merry Christmas!

This super quick and easy card is made with the Savvy Deer Head die, a very old Stampendous jewel sticker, MFT sentiment and Delicata Gold ink.

The gold rimmed, red circle jewel turns my deer head into Rudolph. As always, it takes a few photos to try capture the shimmer & sparkle of the luscious Delicata Golden Glitz ink.

We are having a quiet dinner at home this year. My son had his wisdom teeth out on Monday and we weren't sure how he'd be feeling by Christmas day but I'm happy to report after a day of pudding & yogurt he is doing fabulously and once again emptying the fridge & pantry. I am really looking forward to a quiet, relaxing weekend with the family.
