CASology Week 273: LIST

Welcome to Week 273 at CASology!

I've been urging my family to get started on Christmas wish lists and realizing I need to get started on Christmas cards, so pulling out MFT's Jingle All the Way stamp set seemed an obvious choice for the challenge this week.

The Santa image and sentiment are stamped on the kraft panel and colored with Copic markers. I wanted the white elements to really pop, so experimented with Nuvo Crystal Drops. The Simply White Gloss gave me the finish I wanted.

The Design Team has more terrific ideas this week!

CASology 272: CHERISH

Welcome to Week 272 at CASology!

Who do you cherish in your life? Family and friends, and family who are friends, are so important to me. I used this week's cue word as a gentle prompt to make a card for a dear friend letting her know how much I do cherish our friendship.

The Memory Box Heart Wave die is cut from white cardstock and adhered to the card base with the Simon Says Stamp You die cut and sentiment popped up over it. A vellum circle softens the hearts under the sentiment.

The Design Team has beautiful cards to inspire you this week!

CASology Week 271: SORRY

Welcome to Week 271 at CASology!

Sadly, my supply of condolence cards was depleted this summer so I took advantage of this week's cue word to start replenishing the pile.

Using CAS(E) This Sketch #243 for inspiration, the lower third of my card front was taped off and inked with Crushed Olive Distress Ink. The inked part was then masked and a line of Broken China Distress Ink added above,

The Ali Edwards Technique Tuesday sentiment is stamped on the inked panel and a Memory Box Alder Tree die added to the right side.

The Design Team has a terrific cards this week!

CASology Week 270: ODD

Welcome to Week 270 at CASology!

The gallery should be fun with ODD as our cue word this week. Odd numbers, especially three of something, have been used forever to create a design pleasing to the eye. I chose to heat emboss three Mama Elephant Freestyle Floral images along with an Altenew sentiment on a watercolor paper panel.

Color is added to the images with an aqua pen and Spiced Marmalade and Barn Door Distress inks before the panel is mounted on the terracotta card base.

The Design Team has great cards for you to check out!

CASology Week 269: GRID

Welcome to Week 269 at CASology!

As soon as I saw this week's cue word, I dug deep into my stash of patterned papers to find this red and cream grid paper. To add interest, an MFT Stitched Arch die adds a curved line to the straight edges.

The MFT thanks die is cut from a matching red paper, mounted on a black flag banner and popped up on the grid paper panel. Another banner grounds the panel on the card base, with a trio of enamal dots for added interest and another shape.

The Design Team has beautiful Grid cards to share with you this week!
