Welcome to Week 312 at CASology!
There are many different ways to take this cue word and I anticipate a gallery full of sympathy and get well cards, along with a few related to new shoes!
I pulled out Papertrey Ink's Stuck On You stamps and dies and die cut three vellum bandages. The back of the die cuts were colored with a Copic R20 marker and a white center panel was adhered. The sentiments and a vellum heart were added to the front of the bandages before they were adhered to the card front.
I always have a couple of bandages in my wallet and one saved the day on a recent vacation when my shoe fell apart.
The design team has terrific cards this week!
Jacquie Southas (you are here)
We are looking forward to seeing how HEAL inspires you - just remember to keep it Clean & Simple! You have until 9 AM Monday, Sep 17th. (CMT) to link your card to the CASology blog. Did you notice the date? We are back to one week challenges!
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
Love the card and how you saved the day with your shoe falling apart by adding the bandage.
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy how much that Copic color makes that die cut look like a real band-aid! Fun get-well card, Jacquie!
ReplyDeleteLove how realistic you got those band-aids looking! Adorable card! And I love your Macgyver move to fix your shoe!!
ReplyDeletethis is absolutely fabulous and i love how you fixed your sandal, so clever!
ReplyDeleteLove your bandaids. What a clever idea for a get well card. And, I have had the same thing happen to my shoes on vacation, and wish I had a baindaid like you did.
