CASology Week 221: CURE

Welcome to Week 221 at CASology!

I wish we had a cure for all the scary health diagnosis hitting friends and family, but sometimes all we can offer is hugs.

For this card, I stamped the PTI Big Hugs image in pink first and then finished the sentiment in black. I wanted to keep the sentiment as the focal point so die cut it with a mini-scalloped stitched circle die and popped it up on the card base.

Before adhering the circle, spun Sugar Distress Ink was lightly sponged on the card base to help the sentiment circle pop a bit more. A few pink gems and sequins add a bit of interest.

For more really clever takes on CURE, please check out the Design Team cards!

  5. Very gorgeous CAS card Jacquie ! May be we cannot cure everything with hugs but I'm sure that to know that people care a lot for you, it helps a lot to cure ! Thanks for sharing.

  6. Yes unfortunately hugs will have to do for now in so many cases. :( But hugs like this one are wonderful. Love the soft pink behind the scalloped circle.
