Freshly Made Sketches #391

We have a fabulous sketch from Clean Team designer Amy O'Neill to inspire us this week! My husband rebuilding our deck this weekend inspired me to think about Father's Day cards and play around with my tool dies.

A sentiment from the MFT All About Dad stamp set is stamped on a stitched rectangle before it is woodgrain embossed and the die cut MFT Tool Charms hung. Any construction project here starts with drawings on graph paper so I was happy to find this piece in my patterned paper stash to add a little more interest to the design.

I'm linking this card to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge where Simon Says Masculine this week.

The Clean Team has fabulous cards this week - I hope you can play along with us!

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie

  1. such a cute card and so good for guys I just love how you used the turquoise card stock for the handles and also embossed the tan panel in wood! Also using the grid paper adds so much to the card also. I have this set of tool dies and haven't used it in years--so this card is such a great idea with father's day coming!
