Papertrey Ink 9th Anniversary Celebration

Papertrey Ink is celebrating thier 9th anniversary with challenges and contests and you have until February 15th to play along.

Anniversary-header

For the Day 1: Design Team Favorites Challenge, I made this card based on Dawn McVey's Color Recipe.

Dawn's-colors

The images from Leave It Be were stamped and masked on the card front first and then a strip of Ripe Avocado added near the bottom of the card. The Scripted die is cut once in black and once in Ripe Avocado. A third partial cut of just the "hello" was made so that the stacked die is the same height when the "there" was adhered to the strip.

This second card is for the Day 2: Dress Up Inspiration Challenge. Instead of picking something from my closet, I decided to make a card based on this clean and graphic lightning bolt t-shirt I found online.

I cut several Scarlet Jewel and Smoky Shadow squares and then used the lighning bolt from Zappy Birthday to cut them in half. The squares were reconfigured on a Soft Stone square and then adhered to the card base.

A sentiment from Superhero is stamped in Smoky Shadow ink. We always seem to be short of masculine birthday cards, so I was happy to add this one to the stash,

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie
