The sentiment is inked with Lemon Tart and Orange Zest and stamped on the white panel several times, moving a little each time. The inked image has a circle pattern in it, so I used an embossing folder with a similar feel on the base panel.
To give the die cut a little more substance, I cut it in white several times and adhered these die cuts to the red die cut instead of just popping up the word with foam adhesive.
The color palette at the Colour Q Challenge blog had caught my eye earlier today and I decided to use it. I love red/yellow/orange together and red/aqua, but wasn't sure how all four colors would work.
Getting the balance right on color challenges is always difficult for me, but I am really pleased with the final card today.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
