Karren has given us a wonderfully versatile sketch to work with this week. I decided to ink smoosh a watercolor panel to create a sky background and base for the heat embossed MFT Brushstroke Birthday sentiment.

A trio of brightly colored MFT Gerbera with sparkly centers provide the circle element in the sketch. This panel is popped up on a big dot embossed panel for a little extra texture.

 Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #449!

I absolutely love Cécile's sketch this week and fully intended to create a geometric design. I really can't explain how the triangles morphed into umbrellas and a beach scene. Sometimes creativity takes a road trip and I decided to stay with it this week.

I did stay with a loose triangle shape when inking the sand and sky backgrounds, slightly offsetting them so the sand is shifted to the right side of the panel and the sky more to the left. A trio of seagulls were heat embossed in the sky as the small triangle element before the beach umbrellas and heat embossed sentiment were layered on the panel.

 Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #448!

Jennifer Brum has designed our sketch this week and I'm loving the diagonal panel! As you can see, I used it as a sentiment strip, heating embossing a Simon Says Stamp Sending & Wishing sentiment on vellum.

The vellum strip is wrapped around a paper quilt created using patterned paper scraps, a WPlus9 Quilt Cuts 2 die and MFT Chalkboard frame dies.
