Muse #218 + FMS #290 + Simon Says Anything Goes

Waiting for a delivery trapped me at home for most of the day. What's a crafty girl to do, but head to her desk and play?

This card is being submitted to the Muse #218 challenge where we are celebrating Ardyth's birthday in style. Instead of giving us a card for inspiration, we were invited to pick any card Ardyth's extensive & fabulous portfolio. My need for a sympathy card sent me right to her Pinterest board and this perfect example.

Ardyth Percy-Robb

Turning the sketch for Freshly Made Sketches #290 upside down and flipping it influenced my decision to move the focal to the bottom of the panel. The stamped tree is replaced with a die cut branch placed to allow a few leaves to overhang the popped up panel.

The sentiment from the Altenew Thinking of You was stamped after the masked area was inked with Crushed Olive Distress Ink.

In addition to linking this card to Freshly Made Sketches #290, it is being added to the Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Blog Challenge where Anything Goes this week.

Happy birthday, Ardyth!

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie
