OCC Clean & Simple 3 Day 3

Hi there! I'm waving at you from the top of Palomar Mountain, where I'm on an annual retreat with some crafty friends and roughing it with no cell reception (but there is WiFi). I'm supposed to be working on a couple of travel mini-books, but keep getting drawn back to cards.

These cards are all based techniques from the Online Card Class Clean & Simple 3 - the first couple are Stamp Layering and the last one an example of Masking.

A bonus of crafting with friends is getting to use their stamps - the background stamp and sentiments were borrowed for both these cards :)

My favorite card so far is this masked frame Thank You card.

This was my second attempt with this technique and I am so happy that I tried it with Delicata Gold ink - love the shimmer.

Just to keep it real, I'll share my first attempt at this technique. Everything was going along nicely until I turned the panel over and, for some unknown reason, scored in the wrong spot?!

I'm still trying to figure out how to save the panel, so don't be surprised to see it show up on a card in the future.

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie

  3. A craft retreat sounds like so much fun, as does borrowing stamps. You did a great job on your homework with them.
