Simon Says Birthday + CASology Up

The CASology Cue card this week is "UP" - the first thing that came to my head was the wonderful movie, but after a quick glance through my stamp sets I knew this is the card I wanted to make.

The stamps in this set have a bit of a grunge feel to them, so the missing ink on the "D" is part of the stamp.

I've discovered a hole in my die collection - no arrow dies?! These are free formed, which is easy enough to do, but they don't have the smooth finished edge that I love from die cuts.

The inside of the card is finished with a trio of arrows and another stamped sentiment that answers the question (just in case you couldn't figure it out :)).

The Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog is celebrating their 4th birthday this week, so Birthday cards are the challenge and this card will be linked up over there as well. They are offering some extra special prizes and there is still lots of time to play along, so head over to the blog for all the details!

So, what is your favorite set of arrow dies?

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie

  1. Great minds think alike - I used the same sentiment for CASology this week - love your arrows with it!

  2. Oh, so fun! You did a great job free-hand cutting your arrows, who needs dies! (I don't have any either, if that makes you feel any better!) Love the colors and all that glorious whie space! Thanks so much for joining us at CASology this week!
