MIM#111 + CASology + CAS(E)

It has been a tough week to get in some crafting time, so I am combining a few challenges again today.

The Make It Monday challenge is to use a watercolored embossed image - you can see Heather's tutorial at Capture the Moment and link up your card too.

The CASology Cue Card this week is travel, so I stamped the globe from PTI's Destinations stamp set on a piece of Spring Rain card stock and heat embossed the image. The image is then watercolored to highlight the lines of the continents and water.

Did you recognize the card design from CAS(E) this Sketch?

The diagonal line is created with the Twist Die cover plate, and provides a spot to anchor the sentiment panels and the globe.

This sentiment is an absolute favorite of mine and something I am always saying to my destination focussed dear husband.

I have another watercolor panel drying, just not sure which direction that card is going and I have a few more chores to finish before I can get back to it.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. Love your card! What a great way to combine these challenges, too!

  2. What a fantastic combination of all those challenges - I love your idea of not limiting your travel to any one destination and reminding us to enjoy the journey! Thanks so much for playing along with us at CASology and CAS(E) This Sketch this week!

  3. I always love that sentiment - such an important one not to forget! Great combo of challenges here! Thanks for playing along with CASology and CAS(E) This Sketch this week!

  4. Jacquie this is just fantastic! The world is the bomb! LOL Thank you so much for sharing with us this week at CASology!

  5. Oh, I see that you know already about the CASology challenge. I love this card--your colored globe is so striking, and I really love that die cut you layered under your globe.

  6. The die you used here is amazing! I love your sentiment placement too. Thanks for playing along with CASology this week!

  7. What a wonderful combination of elements! Love the strip behind the globe - they work perfectly together! Thanks for joining us at CAS(E) this Sketch!

It makes my day when you take time to comment - thank you!
