The main focal stamp and birthday stamp are both from Papertrey Ink, along with the card stock and dies. I had to dig into a few other stamp sets to put together my background collage.
Because this is a birthday card, I am also linking it up to the Simon Says . . . Happy Birthday challenge celebrating the Simon Says Stamp Challenge Blog's birthday.
The second card I am sharing is for the Moxie Fab World Tuesday Trigger: Friendly Flowers. As always, Cath comes up with a fabulous trigger image.
I pulled out my Lovely Layers die looking for the larger scalloped circle to cut a few little felt flowers and ended up using the larger dies instead.
One of my favorite things about the trigger image is the pop of red, so I had to thread my button with red floss and anchor the panel on a red card base.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
Beautiful - the felt looks wonderful and just the right touch with the red
ReplyDeleteLOVE both of these cards, Jacquie! The collage technique is not one I was real comfy with either, but you created such a beautiful card.
ReplyDeleteThe felt flower on your TT card is fabulous also :)
A lovely bright and cheery birthday card, Jacquie! Thanks for sharing it with us at the Simon Says Stamp challenge this week!
ReplyDeleteLike the felt, but oh wow on the collage! Who are you and what have you done with Jacquie?!
ReplyDeleteVery pretty card for MIM! Very light and airy!
ReplyDeleteHey Jacquie! Thanks for linking this up to this week's Tuesday Trigger in the Moxie Fab World! I'm so glad you joined in on all the fun! :)
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are great. Your collage is perfectly done, and I adore your take on the trigger. That felt is perfect, and I like how you added the pop of red.
ReplyDeleteI love your fresh clean approach to the challenge. The felt is so striking.
