CTS95 + CQC261 + Virginia's View #8 CAS + Seize the Birthday & Splitcoaststampers Featured Stamper 399

I have a couple of things to share with you. First of all, I was a little stunned and hugely honored to get a message from Julie Warner at Splitcoaststampers earlier this week to tell me I am the Featured Stamper! This means, anyone who wants to play along is CASEing my gallery. I go by Jacquie J at SCS and you can see my gallery here and all the beautiful CASE cards here or search FS399 at SCS.

I found a little time to make a card this morning before things heated up too much. Yes, we are being hit with high temperatures again after a beautiful cool few days, but at least it is a dry heat that comes with the Santa Ana winds.

For this card, I cut an Avery Elle chevron die three times from white card stock and then from scraps of teal, terracotta and chartreuse. The three white die cuts are layered together and the colored pieces inset, with a few layered to different heights.

The sentiment was stamped in dark brown ink before the diecut was adhered to the card base.

The color palette came from the Colour Q Challenge #261 and the card design from CAS(E) this Sketch! #95. I am also entering this card in Virginia's View Challenge #8 Clean And Simple and Seize the Birthday, where I think it fits Anything Goes even though the chevron reminds me of a Banner.

I'd love to see you join in the fun over at Splitcoaststampers!

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie
