I created this card for the Papertrey Ink June 2015 Blog Hop going on all day today. You can find all the details here at Capture the Moment.
Can you see how I translated the sweet shoes in the inspiration photo into this card?
The Happiness in Bloom dies were used to cut a number of flowers from red and whte burlap, clear transparency paper and cream crepe paper. A touch of ink added color to the white burlap and the flowers were tied together with black buttons and paper twine. The burlap was run through a Xyron before it was cut making it easy to adhere to the transparency for more stability. A few felt leaves finish off this floral cluster.
Building Blocks dies are cut from Smoky Shadow and Soft Stone cardstock to make the striped base for the Thank You Kindly sentiment.
