MIM #185: Faux Stained Glass + Merry Monday #131 Non-Traditional Colors

I had a little more fun with the Make It Monday #185: Faux Stained Glass technique from Betsy Veldman. You can find her tutorial here and, I have to warn you, it is a little addictive :)

This time, an outline sentiment from Instant Photo: Holidays Stamp Set is stamped on the transparency before letters are colored in on the backside with Copic markers.

A shaker box is created by stacking frames cut from from the Limitless Layers Square Die collection. The transparency is sandwiched between the top two layers, giving enough room to allow the sequins to move freely.

The colors were inspired by the Merry Monday Challenge #131: Non-Traditional Colors. Details for this challenge can be found here.

I love the way this card turned, but it was super hard to photograph because of the way the stamped image reflected off the white panel, giving a double vision shadow to the sentiment.

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie
