Are you surprised that I have another card with inlaid die cuts? I really love this technique and used a few MFT triangle dies that were on clearance a little while ago.
I paired the triangles with a couple of PTI word dies, so no stamping on this card.
This next card was one of my attempts at the faux letterpress technique. I wasn't very patient waiting for my white pigment ink to dry and definitely didn't get every stamp lined up evenly, but kind of like the final result.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
The triangles are perfect, so modern & chic, but it's the faux letterpress that has won my heart lol. I made mine with white.... maybe I'll be trying coloured inks next, thanks for the inspiration!

ReplyDeleteTwo really great cards. MFT dies totally rock, and clearance?, bonus!! Great colors on your first card. The second card is amazing. Love that overlay of white, and it's more beautiful because it's not perfectly lined up! Really like it! Bev
ReplyDeleteYour cards are fabulous!!!! Your first card with all the dies, to quote Bev, totally rocks, I am still in awe of how amazing it is!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the inlaid die card! I recognize the birthday die cut, but couldn't find the HAPPY anywhere on the Papertrey site. Your color choice is fabulous.
