A little sheer ribbon and a dangling metal snowflake finish the card off.
This next card started off with my attempt to play along with PTI's Make It Monday #148: Generation Stamping with Line Images & Multiple Colors (you can see Dawn's tutorial here). I really don't have many Line Image stamps, but played around with Reason to Smile to see what I could come up with.
I really like the card overall, but hated the stamped flowers, so today I pulled off that panel and made a new one.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
Great cards! I particularly like the snowman one, I love lots of white space on a card. Thanks for joining us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
ReplyDeleteAll three are great. Such a cute scene of snowmen. Isn't it refreshing to think about snowmen when it is so hot out? I have to admit that I like your 3rd card a bit better than the second. I am a fan of clean stamping--not sure I will attempt this week's MIM.
ReplyDeleteAdorable 3, Jacquie! The snowmen are personality plus! Had a hard time with this week's MIM. Couldn't seem to get the card in focus. Your last card is just so much more pleasing to the eye!
ReplyDeleteYour snowman card is adorable and I love how you made it so CAS! And I struggled too with this weeks MIM until I realized there were a few line images in the "Beautiful Blooms set...this technique just does not work without a line image! And if you don't have any........ But anyway, your last card turned out beautiful and has inspired me to get my set out and work with it again...thank you! :0)
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely array of card, Thank you for joining us for Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteBoth you cards are so amazing :) love those cute snowmen
ReplyDeleteBoth cards are great! Love the cute snowmen. Thank you for joining us at Merry Monday!
ReplyDeleteThose snowmen are darling and make a great interpretation of the Muse card. The MIM technique is not one I think I'll be doing.
ReplyDeleteLove your snowmen with the bright colours! Thanks for joining us at Muse this week!
ReplyDeleteFabulous Snowmen Jacquie. I love the gorgeous colours you have used on them, and the blue snowdrift background. Thank you so much for joining us at Merry Monday.
ReplyDeleteLove your snowman family! Great coloring!
ReplyDeleteSo cute...I love your sweet snowman family and your floral cards are beautiful Jacquie...love them all!
ReplyDeleteLove that happy little gang of snowmen and that cool embossing on the blue panel! And I do like your second card better. I'm not so sure about that generation line stamping - kind of makes my eyes go blurry! :P
ReplyDeleteYour cards are fabulous Jacquie! Those snowmen are some of my faves and the embossed blue background is so sweet, I really really must take a minute to check out the PTI generation stamping video, those flowers are incredible!
ReplyDeleteWonderful snowmen, Jacquie! Love the fun colors and little charm! Thanks for sharing this with us at Merry Monday! (Love the flowers too!)
ReplyDeleteI agree with you on the MIM card...that technique makes me think my vision is blurry!! I like your other panle much better! The PS snowman quartet is adorable! You can't really go wrong with those guys! :)
ReplyDeleteADORE your rainbow snowmen!!! And love the geometric patterned paper you paired with the flowery focal point. Such a nice contrast!
ReplyDeleteWhat is it about creatively shaped snowmen that is do appealing?! Yours are adorable.
ReplyDeleteFabulous snowman card - great take on Therese's card! I I agree the 2nd version of flower card is best - in fact it's gorgeous! The mim method is a bit tricky this week - I'm not sure I like the out of focus look.
ReplyDeleteFabulous cards !
ReplyDeleteThank you for joining us at Simon Says Wednesday Challenge this week.
