Week 311 at CASology: FLIP

Welcome to Week 311 at CASology!

The first thing that came to mind when I saw the cue word this week was flip flops, so I went with a summer themed card. A few scraps of watercolor paper were colored with a trio of Zig markers and die cut with a Taylored Expressions flip flop die.

The pieces were flipped around to make a trio of flip flop pairs and adhered to a wonky stitched die cut rectangle. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink's  stamp set.

The design team has fabulous cards for you to check out this week!

CASology Week 310: SPORTS

Welcome to Week 310 at CASology!

Were you sucked into watching the FIFA World Cup earlier this summer? We were and with a soccer loving son, this stamp set has been in my stash for years.

The two sentiments are stamped in green as a nod to the pitch and my son's high school colors.

Please give a special welcome to Marcie Sharp joining the design team this week!

CASology Week 309: SUNBEAM

Welcome to Week 309 at CASology!

This week it was a sentiment from the Technique Tuesday Say It - Thanks stamp set that inspired my card. Instead of stamping the "thanks", I subbed in a MFT die cut using the camoflage die cut technique.

The die is cut once from the sunbeam patterned paper and twice from pale yellow cardstock. The stamped sentiment is added to the panel before the stacked die cuts are inset.

Check out the amazing design team cards!
