CASology Week 248: COMMENCEMENT

Welcome to Week 248 at CASology!

This cue word is perfectly timed with high school and college graduations happening for those of us in the northern hemisphere, although it is a great word for any sort of new beginning.

My baby boy is somehow graduating from high school in a month and I admit to being in complete denial that this milestone is really here already. I used his school colors for this card and love that it can easily be adapted to make a few more cards we will be needing for different high schools and colleges.

An MFT square frame die is cut several times to create the shaker box. The base is a piece of white cardstock that is embossed with stars before the micro beads are sealed in. The sentiment on the star is a combination of an MFT heat embossed sentiment and die cut numbers and adhered to the front of the shaker box after it is sealed and dried.

The PTI sentiment was stamped on the card base before the shaker box was adhered.
