Clean Team Designer Amy O'Neill's trio of circles were a perfect match for the MFT Winged Wonders stamp set that arrived while I was on vacation!

Circle dies were used to create two stencils with the slightly larger used to softly ink Picked Raspberry Distress Ink slightly offset from the center of the panel. A smaller circle is then inked on either side in Spiced Marmalade.

Once the circles were finished, three butterflies and the sentiment were stamped and a scatter of sequins added.

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #543!

 

The elegant style of Clean Team designer Cécile Ribon shines through in the fabulous sketch this week. I stayed true to it except for creating an A2 card instead of a square card.

The PTI Choose Joy sentiment is selectively stamped in two colors and then cut with the MFT Stitched Mini-scalloped Square die.

A number of leaf dies (Memory Box Massa Leaf, MFT Fab Foliage and Wild Greenery) are cut from the light and dark aqua and thick vellum papers so I could play a bit with the layering. The die cuts were adhered and then the square sentiment panel popped up over them. A few aqua and white enamel dots finish off the design.

CASology Challenge #405: WINDY

Welcome to CASology Challenge #405!

 

My design this week is 100% influenced by what I see on a windy day at the beach and I just had to decide whether a kite or sailboat was going to take center stage. As you can see the Wplus9 sailboat won out.

The sunset background was created using a trio of Distress Inks and a mask made from an MFT Stitched Arch die. The Paper Smooches Wicked Nauticool sentiment is heat embossed before the die cut sailboat added.
