Welcome to Week 245 at CASology!
Were you following the long, long, long labor of April the Giraffe? Well, she finally had a beautiful, baby boy and inspired this week's card. The cue word GROW made me think of growing a family with the addition of a new baby.
The Memory Box Giraffe Trio were cut from patterned papers and adhered to a stitched rectangle panel. The PTI Perfect Pairing sentiment was stamped with PTI Blueberry Sky ink on a banner that is wrapped around the popped up panel.
This close up gives you a better view of the subtle patterns in the papers. There are so many directions GROW can take you, even the simpliest birthday card celebrating growing one more year older works for this challenge. Check out the Design Team cards for more ideas!

Jacquie Southas (you are here)
Judy Marino (off this week)
We are looking forward to seeing how GROW inspires you - just remember to keep it Clean & Simple! You have until Monday at noon (CMT) to link your card to the CASology blog.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
This is such a sweet card, Jacquie! I love that you chose subtle patterns for the giraffes...especially on Kraft! Fabulous take on the cue card!!!
ReplyDeleteThis is such a darling card, Jacquie.
ReplyDeleteLove your pattern paper giraffes, Jacquie. Such a cute baby card.
ReplyDeleteYes! I WAS following April the Giraffe on the zoo cam (I was a bit obsessed with it, actually) and I missed her giving birth by a few minutes! (Just my luck!) I thought of April as soon as I saw your card, so I was thrilled to read the beginning of your post! Sweet baby card, love the sweet die cuts and patterned papers!
ReplyDeleteAdored this card the moment I saw it in the CASology Gallery, Jacquie! What a beautiful idea for a baby card, and I can't go past your kraft / blue combo or the choice of patterned paper. LOVE!!!
