Welcome to Week 206 at CASology!
What a fun, wide open word we have to work with this week!
The sentiment is from MFT Clearly Sentimental About Art and the brushstroke from MFT DC Abstract Art. Four Zig markers were swiped on the image and stamped onto a watercolor paper panel before an aqua brush was used to blend the blue & yellow and red & yellow to finish off the rainbow.
Once the panel was completely dry, the sentiment is stamped over the rainbow brushstroke with Versafine Black Onyx ink.
There are so many directions to go with ART as the inspiration. For a few more terrific ideas, check out the Design Team creations.

Oh I love love love your card for this cue Jacquie. Cannot wait to play.
ReplyDeleteLove your minimalist rainbow. So artsy.
ReplyDeleteYour brushstroke worked perfectly! And I've been meaning to try Zigs-to-stamps; good to know it works so well!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I think all the white with a splash of colors is stunning, and with that sentiment on top it "explains" the white - very clever! Love the watercolorpaper you have used; an icing on the cake detail!

There may be many ways to go with the cue word but I really like your way, Jacquie. I love the 'splash' of color AND the sentiment.
ReplyDeleteI love this, Jacquie! The brushstrokes in the corner of your raised panel is so bright and happy. The sentiment is not only wonderful, but you've placed it perfectly; anywhere else on your card wouldn't be as cool! Great card! Bev
