If you follow Freshly Made Sketches, you've already seen the announcement that I am joining the Clean Team for the next six months! This news means my 2019 is off to a fabulous start and I'm thrilled to be sharing my first card based on Amy O'Neill's terrific sketch!
Each week a member of the team creates a sketch to inspire you, with the twist to keep the design clean-lined and fresh. All the rules, design team cards and the link-up to play along can be found on the Freshly Made Sketches blog.
The Memory Box Massa Leaf die cut covers the visual space of the circle in Amy's design and is layered between the banners.
The banners are created by layering lemon washi tape on a scrap of white cardstock and heat embossing a MFT Essential Sentiments birthday greeting on a scrap of yellow cardstock.
The challenge closes on Monday, January 7th at 3:00 PM EST. I hope you will find time to play along with us this week!
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
What a great sketch. Simple but really packs a punch as does the card you made. I love all the nice spring like colors on it as well.
ReplyDeleteWashi tape? Who knew?!? You did.....it is adorable! Love the sweet clean look of this! Welcome welcome welcome!
ReplyDeleteI love your creative take on the sketch. And that Massa Leaf die has been on my wish list for ages but for some reason I never put it in my cart on one of my many shopping trips! I think this is Kismet! I'll have to add that die for sure to celebrate you joining our FMS team!

ReplyDeleteHi Jacquie! Happy New Year! I'm sorry to be so late visiting, but I've been under a crapalanche, lol, and finally got out from under it! Your card is mwah! So simple, but your clean, crisp lines and that little peek of pp really resonates with me! Pinning!! Hugs, Darnell
