I had to put on my thinking cap, because I only have a few PS stamp sets and none of them include a butterfly image.
Can you figure out how these butterflies were made? After venting about high school choices and acceptance issues earlier today, a friend told me I needed a drink with an umbrella in it. It was a bit early for that, so I retreated to the office and made butterflies with the umbrella from the PS Promenade stamp set.
The sentiment is from the same set and framed with a Nestabilities die.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
This is just brilliant. I am struggling with the challenge, too, because I do not have any PS Butterflies. But, your creativity is inspiring me to take another look at my sets to see if I have anything I could possibly adapt.
ReplyDeleteHow stinkin' creative, Jacquie! These make such great butterflies! Wonderful idea. Also love your turquoise and yellow colors. What a happy, happy card : )
ReplyDeletePS, I was really afraid to invest in ANOTHER cutting system too. I used the Cricut pretty often, but I had so many of those darn cartridges that I didn't want to not use. The Silhouette is nothing like the Cricut in terms of what you can create on your own. I don't have to buy a thing, yet can cut so many different embellishments, cards, letters, etc. So, I look at it as a one-time investment. Since I've owned it over the past year, I've spent less than $10. There are so many free files posted all over the internet too. Just making 90 of my Christmas cards on the Silhouette made the purchase worthwhile for me. Everyone has their own opinions, but for me I have zero regrets.
You are so smart, I cannot stand it!
ReplyDeleteSo clever, Jacquie! It is amazing how creativity evolves from limitations! Love that framed sentiment design too! Good luck with the challenge! I'm so glad that you joined us this week!
