I plan every year to make our gift tags, but usually scramble at the last minute and fall back to store bought. This year will be different - I have been die cutting a tag or two out of scrap cardstock as I make cards. They don't always get finished right away, but the base is waiting for me.
Combining the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge #80 to make gift tags and the Moxie Fab World Keen on Neon challenge, I quickly finished off one of the ready-to-go tag bases.
CFC80: Create Clean And Simple Gift Tags
The tag die and sentiment are from Papertrey Ink.
Neon is really best in small doses, so I simply layered 2 Martha Stewart snowflake punches with American Crafts glitter paper. A small pearl colored with a Copic marker finishes it off.
A thin bright pink ribbon along with a silver bell finish off this tag.
The second tag I'm going to post was made a few weeks ago for a CASual Fridays challenge to use kraft. Time ran out before I could post, so I am happy to see the gift tag challenge.
The sentiment is from PTI's Happiest of Holidays stamp set and mounted onto a Memory Box die cut. A trio of gems finish the panel.
Once again, I tied a couple of bells to twine with a bow and finished the tag with a gingham ribbon tie.
Since Anything Goes over at Simon Says Stamp this week, I am also linking both tags.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
