Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #505!
Clean Team designer Narelle Farrugia provided our fun sketch this week. She is truly the queen of fabulous layered designs so I decided to go a little out of my comfort zone this week.

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #504!
Clean Team designer Karren Johnson has given us a classic sketch in the slimline format this week. Does anyone else immediately think this style is perfect for slipping a little cash to the recipient or is it just me?
I hope you check out the fabulous Clean Team designs and play along with us this week at Freshly Made Sketches!

Cécile Ribon is the Clean Team designer behind our sketch this week and it is her work that first introduced me to the lovely Simply Graphic dies. I immediately thought of the tram and mountain top from Sur La Montagne when I saw the sketch.
I hope you check out the fabulous Clean Team cards at Freshly Made Sketches and join in the fun this week!
ETA I've had a few questions about where to get the dies I used on this card. Simply Graphic is a French based papercrafting company that I order from directly using PayPal and the default/basic shipping option to the US. This die set is called Sur La Montagne (On the Mountain).

I love the offset panel on Jennifer Brum's great sketch this week. I decided to use it to highlight a few bits and pieces that surfaced while reorganizing things in the office.
The bouquet is created from a couple buttons, a resin flower, a resin flower brad and a rubber flower sitting on a Memory Box Massa Leaf die cut. The hello speech bubble was leftover from a long ago project and became the starting point for the sentiment.

Welcome to CASology Challenge #395!
One year older, one year old or a tribute to your number one friend, love or whatever, there are so many ways to use our cue word this month. I can't wait to see what you do!
Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches!
It was such fun to see the gallery fill up last week with all of you helping us celebrate sketch #500! Kim is starting us on the way to the next 500 with a terrific classic design.
I don't usually make a lot of Halloween cards but have a fun Poppystamps Scary Ghost die waiting impatiently to be used. And I didn't want to risk upsetting an impatient ghost.
My idea was to create a bit of dimension by embossing a white panel and then cutting the small rectangle panel from the center. The outside frame is adhered to the card base first, then an orange polka dot panel added for a bit of fun and finally the center panel is popped back in so the embossed lines match up.
I hope the ghost looks like she is rising from a smoky swirl with her bottom end adhered flat to the panel and a foam dot elevating her head.
Make sure you check out this Freshly Made Sketches post to see if you won one of the fabulous prizes our sponsors offered last week!
A random number generator helped me pick the winner of this prize.
The winning number is 1, which means I will be in contact with you, Stephanie! Please don't hesitate to email me at jjsouthas@yahoo.com if an email doesn't show in your inbox today.
I'm adding this card to the NBUS Challenge #30 to celebrate using the ghost die!
