Freshly Made Sketches #392

I'm the challenge host this week and had fun designing this sketch. The three horizontal panels can be sentiment strips or any design element that strikes your fancy!

I used them as sentiment strips, heat embossing a trio from MFT Greetings & Salutations stamp set and attaching them to my rectangular aquarium shaker. The Copic colored fish is from Avery Elle That Bites.

Salty Ocean Distress Ink is blended and layered on the background panel before the fish is adhered with foam dots, allowing the sequins and microbeads to flow around both the front and back.

Check out the Clean Team's fabulous cards for more ideas. I hope my sketch inspires you play along with us at Freshly Made Sketches this week!

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie

  9. What a fun cad and that adorable fish put a big smile on my face on dreary wet day here in Manchester! The shaker background is a great idea and the micro-beads really add to the watery feel.
