Craft Hoarders Anonymous 2017 Holiday Blog Hop

Welcome to the Craft Hoarders Anonymous
2017 Holiday Blog Hop!

You should be arriving here from Marisa Jobs' blog, Designs by Marisa!  If you want to start from the beginning of the Blog Hop, head over to Gloria Stengel's Scraps of Life.

Have you caught the Traveler's Notebook bug? I sure have and decided to make myself a Holiday Planner using a plain, blank 4 1/4 x 8 1/4 notebook.

The papers used on this project are from Carta Bella's Christmas Delivery line or Photo Play's Mad 4 Plaid Christmas. A pocket page is created from cardstock and added inside the front cover using washi tape to adher it along the spine on both sides.

A small monthly calendar is added with a flap to the side of a two page perpetual style calendar layout. I find this format works really well to add events as the month starts to fill up.

The next section is for baking and meal planning, including Christmas dinner, during the holidays. We have some tried and true treats that have to be made every year and I'll add anything new that catches my eye. You can see that several blank pages are left between the section dividers.

I have a section for gift buying and family member wish lists, a section for card making ideas and the annual family letter (sometimes Haiku style or screen shots of text conversation between family members) and a section for miscellaneous items I don't want to forget.

The completed notebook sits in a folder and travels with me everywhere from now until the end of December.

Before you head to the next stop on the Hop, Amber Milone at Pink Chic Paper Design,  I am giving away this Gossamer Blue Traveler's Notebook Kit in a random draw. The kit includes a notebook, selection of coordinating papers, stickers and embellishments. Just comment on this blog post before Sunday, November 26th by 6 pm PST to be eligible!

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie

  14. Although black isn’t traditionally considered a Christmas color, it can be used to create tasteful, classy, timeless paper projects like this one. I like how you used both Carta Bella and Photo Play collections. Great way to keep organized for the Christmas season! Thanks for sharing.
