I had major poinsettia envy when I saw Meredith MacRitchie's gorgeous card for the Muse Christmas Visions Challenge #59. That is not patterned paper on her card! I really need to get a poinsettia stamp into my collection this year, but for now have to make do with a sweet Poppystamps Poinsettia die.
The close up shows the lovely detailed lines on the poinsettias.
This card is also being entered in the lovely Darnell's NBUS #7 Challenge. I picked up a number of MFT dies earlier this summer, included this great stitched tag. I punched the hole and added a hole protector from a second NBUS tag set. I encourage you to use something from your new craft supplies and play along on this fun challenge (or at least check out what everyone else has been buying).
My car is home so I'm off to run a few errands!
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie
Love the clean feel of this and all the texture! So glad you joined us at MCV this week, Jacquie!
ReplyDeleteLovely fresh Christmas card Jacquie, cut die cut poinsettias and yes love the embossed background
ReplyDeleteLove the clean, crisp feel of your card. Wonderful take on the Muse card.
ReplyDeleteLove your pretty tag. Beautiful work :)
ReplyDeleteScrumptious, Jacquie!! I think I say this every time, but you have such a keen eye for adding depth, texture, and details to your cards while still keeping them clean and crisp!! For instance, everything is gorgeous, but you went the extra mile with that sediment by using two different colors for the stamp AND adding a second die-cut MERRY. Such a simple thing, but what enormous impact! I'm so stealing that idea! Thank you for your kind words and for playing in my challenge again! Enjoy the long weekend! Hugs, Darnell
ReplyDeleteI love your interpretation of my card! Yours is full of texture and I love the way you reworked the elements to suit what you have. Beautiful!
