Backing a piece of burlap with a clear cardstock or a transparency helps to stop fraying.
I couldn't help adding a bell when I used this Mama Elephant sentiment.
I really dug into my stash, using an older Christmas words border stamp and Taylored Expressions snowflake border die.
For this third card, the die is cut from both white cardstock and glitter paper and sandwich around the sentiment panel.
This final card is all die cuts. The Memory Box Pillar Candle Trio is used a few different ways and layered with a Simon Says Stamp sentiment die.
The luxurious gold paper is from a Tim Holtz Kraft-Core Metallic pad.
I'm heading back to the office and more homework.
Thanks for stopping by,
Jacquie

ReplyDeleteHave a great day!!!!
I like all the cards but I think the candle card is my favorite.
ReplyDeleteThese are fabulous, Jacquie. This is the first class I haven't taken and I hope I'm not sorry. I love the texture of the burlap and that slope-y sentiment and snowflake border are divine. The gold and white candles are so elegant and show the versatility of that die. Beautiful, beautiful work.
ReplyDeleteJacquie, wow, you were so busy on the OCC-lessons! Great cards.

I still have to do some more "homeworks"
