Make It Monday #103: The Diecut Double-Up

I think this is going to be one of my favorite Make It Monday Challenges! Betsy Veldman made a fun, fun card using diecuts within diecuts. The tutorial and challenge details can be found at Capture the Moment. Spoiler Alert: I love how she used punctuation marks to make the happy face tag.

I thought I was done with Valentine's Day cards, but somehow have a couple more added to the stash (or maybe this one could be for an anniversary?).

The new Tremendous Tags are the perfect size for a banner and these ancient man and woman dies fit perfectly on them. There are two circle tags, so I used patterned paper to cut one that has a heart cut-out "built in" and backed it with a solid circle tag cut in red.

The tags were strung on the Bakers Twine and the man and woman tags are popped up with foam squares.

I inked part of a sentiment from the Love Potion stamp set and finished the equation with the center heart left over from a Framed Out #11 heart I cut last week. The sentiment is set on a Photo Finish Strips die cut.

I couldn't let the man and woman that were cut out of the tags go to waste, so have another quick card to share.

I was happy to discover my man and woman fit very nicely in the beakers from the Love Potion dies. A couple of stamps from the set were all I needed to finish this one off!

All the paper is from Basic Grey Kissing Booth and I am loving kraft card bases with these colors!

Thanks for stopping by,

Jacquie
