Freshly Made Sketches #660

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #660!

Clean Team designer Judy Rozema is the creative mind behind a fabulous sketch this week! I pulled out my Savvy Deer Head die almost immediately and then was a little stumped on what to do with the lovely scroll element in the sketch.

It was a slow work in progress but I love the final design! For fun and in a little nod to the elegant scroll, the deer was cut from glitter paper before being mounted on a woodgrain embossed oval panel. A number of leaves were cut from various shades of green cardstock and layered at the bottom of the oval. The heat embossed MFT Bitty Holiday Wishes sentiment finishes the design.

Freshly Made Sketches #659

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #659!

Clean Team member Amy O'Neill is the talented designer behind this great sketch! There are so many images and shapes that could be used in place of the circles. I literally went in circles through my balloon, star and ornament images before settling on this sweet line of baubles.

The Lawn Fawn Simply Celebrate Winter image is colored with Copic markers and coated with clear Nuvo drops to mimic the shine of glass ornaments. This slim strip is popped up over a panel stamped with a Lawn Fawn Deck the Halls sentiment and embossed with a Sizzix 3D Leaf Pattern folder. A few leafy die cuts add a bit more texture and detail to the design.

Freshly Made Sketches #658

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #658!

I love that there are so many ways to use the trio of panels in Clean Team designer Narelle Farrugia's fabulous sketch! I decided to layer rectangles with snowflakes and place a large sentiment die cut over it all.

All the snowflakes are cut from a heavy vellum and scattered over the rectangles before the layered PTI Christmas Cheer sentiment is added. A few snowflake sequins finish the design with a bit of sparkle.

Freshly Made Sketches #657

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #657!

Fall leaves and colors were calling to me this week and I took advantage of the amazing Clean Team designer, Karren Johnson's sketch to play with embossed texture and pretty patterned paper.

I was originally planning to replace the tag with just one of the Lawn Fawn Stitched Leaves before deciding to give it a bit more presence with an MFT Blueprint Tag. A little twine added more texture and interest to the design.

Freshly Made Sketches #656

Welcome to Freshly Made Sketches #656!

Our sketch this week is from Clean Team designer, CéciIe Ribon, the queen of elegant and whimsical designs. I had an immediate idea for the center rectangle element and am pretty pleased with the way it turned out.

An older MFT Christmas Text background is stamped with Versamark ink and heat embossed with clear embossing powder on a white panel. Light green ink is blended over a rectangle area of the text so that the words pop. An MFT Joy die is cut from green and white cardstock, layered and adhered onto the center of the inked area.

A few Paper Smooches Holly die cuts and red glitter enamel dots finish the design.
